Ingredients:

  • Dark chocolate chips (55%-70% cocoa)
  • Granulated sugar
  • Large eggs
  • Unsalted butter
  • Vanilla extract
  • Salt
  • All-purpose flour

  • Instant espresso powder (optional)
  • Chopped dark chocolate

Instructions:

  • At first, your oven must be preheated to about 350°F (180°C).  The baking pan with parchment paper lines an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm).
  • Take chocolate & butter in a medium-sized bowl as both of them. Then heat it up and mix it from time to time, not continuously. This will help prevent it from burning and slowly melting. Add the espresso powder if using.
  • Remove the bowl from the heat, but keep it over the water. Add sugar and mix slowly to dissolve completely. After that, remove the bowl from the pan.
  • Then, add egg to the other bowl and combine until it is well smooth. Also, stir in the vanilla extract and mix well.
  • Separate the chopped dark chocolate for added texture.
  • The butter is poured into a prepared baking pan & given about 30-40 minutes in the oven for baking. Or if a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs, it means it baked completely
  • Now, wait for cooling before cutting it.
