Miller and Carter Gluten Free Sides
This website is independent and not affiliated with Miller & Carter. Menus and prices vary by restaurant and change over time, so please confirm current details with the restaurant before ordering or booking.
Miller and Carter gluten free sides come from the brand’s official gluten free menu, which is accredited by Coeliac UK. Five sides carry the GF mark on that menu, including seasoned fries, triple cooked chips and camembert mashed potato. The marks below are reproduced from the official menu. Always confirm with your server before ordering, as the official menu notes that cross contamination can occur.

Are the chips and fries safe for coeliacs?
The official menu marks both the seasoned fries and the triple cooked chips as GF. Diner reports say some branches cook them in a separate fryer. This is not stated on the official menu, so it is worth asking your server how the chips are fried at your branch. The official menu also states that food is prepared in areas where cross contamination may occur, and that menu descriptions do not list every ingredient. If you have coeliac disease, tell the team before you order and let them guide you.
What the GF mark means on this menu
On the official gluten free menu, “gluten free” means the dish contains no more than 20 parts per million of gluten. The menu is accredited by Coeliac UK, and processes and training are in place to keep meals on this menu gluten free. V means made with vegetarian ingredients and VE means made with vegan ingredients, although preparation methods can affect this. These notes are reproduced from the official menu legend. They are not a safety guarantee, so confirm anything you are unsure about with restaurant staff. Our gluten free menu guide covers the wider GF offering, including starters, mains and desserts.
What is not on the sides list
Only the five sides above carry a GF mark we could verify on the current official menu. The onion loaf appears on some older gluten free menu documents, but we could not verify a current GF mark for it, so ask your server if it interests you. Sauces are a separate question, and we have a dedicated guide to Miller and Carter gluten free sauces. For the full sauces range, see our sauces menu and prices guide. The main menu guide and gluten free desserts guide cover the rest of the meal.
