A Miller and Carter gift card works at every Miller & Carter restaurant in the UK, and it is also accepted at other Mitchell’s & Butlers venues across the country. That is the official position from Miller & Carter. There are a few exclusions, which we cover below, so check them before you plan your visit.
Miller and Carter Restaurants Across the UK
Every UK Miller & Carter branch accepts the gift cards, whether you hold a physical card or a digital one. For an e gift, just show the email, link page or text message with your unique code to your server on your phone, or bring a printout, and they will redeem it for you.
The card covers the whole bill, not just the steak. Starters, mains, sides, desserts and drinks all count, so a gift card can easily stretch across a full evening. The main exclusions to remember are franchises that Mitchells & Butlers does not manage, such as Moto service stations, and anywhere outside the UK. Cards can only be bought with a valid UK billing address in the first place, so the whole scheme is UK based. The card also cannot be exchanged for cash.
How to Pay With Your Gift Card
Paying could not be simpler. When the bill arrives, hand over the physical card or show your e gift code and the server redeems it there and then. You do not have to spend the full value in one visit. If the bill comes to more than the balance, just pay the difference by debit or credit card as normal. If it comes to less, the remaining balance stays on the card for next time.
